The maintenance staff is responsible for grooming and repairing tennis and pickleball courts, including lining, net adjustments, and equipment maintenance. They also ensure the facility remains clean and stocked with necessary supplies for daily operations.
Candidates should possess basic tennis knowledge, tool skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with strong customer service and communication skills.
Description
Overview: Tennis Maintenance is responsible for providing regular maintenance, cleaning and setting up tennis and pickleball courts and adjacent areas around the racquets facility. This position would report directly to the Athletics Director. Maintain grounds, keep fencing and wind screens in operating condition. Maintain ball machines and all other machinery used to groom and repair courts
•Communicate court conditions to pro staff in the morning
•Groom and line clay courts in the morning
•Inspect and repair court lines
•Fill water coolers with fresh water and ice each morning
•Restock towels and cups each morning and afternoon
•Empty all trash and towel receptacles in and around tennis facility in the morning and afternoon.
•Maintain nets at correct height
•Check windscreens and fences for loose screens
•Address weeds and algae that grow on the tennis courts
•Wipe down benches and awnings on the court
•Clean out shoe trays.
•Other duties assigned.
