The core of this role is accountability: keeping a pod of five or six delivering promos, webinars and campaigns on time, week after week, without the CEO needing to chase.
The person who built this role has left to run a software company he had started before joining us, which has since taken off. He gave us four weeks' notice and spent them documenting the job, so the next person starts from a written handover rather than guesswork. He rated us 9 out of 10 as a place to work.
So you are not walking into a mess or replacing someone who failed. You are inheriting a role that has been done well before, with a written handover and a pod that knows its work.
We move quickly. You'll work autonomously and make decisions with limited information. We don't have meetings to plan the meeting. We ship.
You have managed at least 3 people directly, in a remote team. This is not a first management role.
You have held someone to a standard they resisted, and you can tell us exactly what you said to them.

Manage the pod of 5–6 people who run the operational side of marketing: promos, webinars, email campaigns and internal training
Own promo timelines end to end, assign clear owners and deadlines, and keep creatives and builders delivering on schedule
Investigate and fix broken processes, events and automations instead of escalating them
Maintain and refine systems and checklists that keep the team moving fast without chaos
Drive team accountability by reviewing daily standups, following up on commitments, enforcing deadlines, and escalating patterns before they become problems
Drive leadership effectiveness through structured meeting facilitation, weekly business reporting and rigorous accountability tracking, so priorities are clear, commitments are followed through, and leadership stays aligned
1. Operational ownership. You'll be the person ensuring critical promos, webinars, and campaigns actually happen. Promos and webinars drive revenue directly, so your work shows up in the numbers rather than in a report about efficiency. When delivery slips, it costs money.
2. Build systems that scale. You'll build and enforce the systems that keep marketing shipping: promo playbooks, QA gates, accountability rhythms, and checklists that continue working as volume and complexity increase.
3. Modern operations stack. You'll work hands on with tools like AEvent, Zoom, HubSpot, Ongage, spreadsheets, and project platforms. You'll sharpen system thinking, automation logic, and operational decision making.
4. Remote first, stable team. We've been profitable since day one. You'll work remotely and join a team that values ownership, clarity, and long-term thinking.
5. Real leadership. You'll manage a team of 5–6 direct reports and report directly to the CEO/CMO, who provides strategic direction, with full visibility into how strategic decisions get made. This is people leadership with real stakes and critical coordination across teams and projects.
Own timelines, task lists, and follow through for promos, webinars, email campaigns, and related workflows.
Turn briefs into execution plans, keep documentation accurate, and prevent delivery misses.
Set priorities, review work, and hold the pod to deadlines and quality standards.
Review daily standups, follow up on commitments, and address slippage directly instead of letting it slide.
Run simple routines like weekly meetings, check-ins, 1:1s, and status updates so everyone knows what's next.
Ensure events are set up correctly in AEvent and Zoom, invites and reminders go out on schedule, and assets are shipped on time.
Support live delivery during launches and coordinate recordings and follow-ups.
QA the full attendee journey before every event.
Ensure training sessions are set up and QA'd, maintain schedules, and ensure sessions run as planned.
When events, automations, or processes fail, run the investigation. Gather facts, identify root causes, coordinate fixes, and document outcomes.
Build, maintain, and enforce SOPs, QA checklists, trackers, and internal documentation.
Run post-promo retrospectives and turn findings into process improvements for the next cycle.
Maintain simple views of delivery status, event performance, and pod output. Flag risks early.

You build, you don't just use. Knowing a tool and creating a workflow in it are different things, and this role needs the second. Wiring an automation in Make, n8n or Zapier, setting up a CRM properly, getting an AI tool to do something genuinely useful: that is part of this job rather than something you raise a ticket for.
We are not hiring a developer. We are hiring someone who fixes and automates rather than waiting for someone else to.
Day to day you'll work with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel), project and task tools (ClickUp, Asana, Trello or similar), webinar and event tools (Zoom, AEvent), and CRM and email platforms (HubSpot, Ongage). We care more that you dig into a tool until you understand it than that you already know ours.

$3,000 – $6,000 USD per month, based on experience. Higher possible for strong HubSpot experience, or advanced experience running online events such as webinars and live launches.
Fully remote, full time contract role, with paid leave based on your country of residence.
We're hiring for the long term. This is not a project engagement.
One hard requirement on hours. Our regular webinars run at 11AM EST, and live promo sessions run through to about 3PM EST, so you need to be working across roughly 10AM to 4PM EST. Promo weeks add pre-recorded encores in the evenings and occasionally at weekends, which need setting up and checking rather than hosting.
If 11AM EST is the middle of your night, this won't work.
We aim to be thorough but efficient. Total time commitment is under 5 hours.
