This role is responsible for ensuring proper maintenance is carried out on all items in the facility and to report status to the maintenance manager. Ensures that equipment is ready for production according to daily production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
Follows Safety Guideline and procedures set for this role.
Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tool if he/she has not been trained to operate.
Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily plan,
Report’s equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
Drives maintenance team to ensure quality work is carried out.
Inspects equipment daily for issues and communicates with maintenance team for repairs.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED preferred. Vocational school or technical certifications strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
Demonstrated ability to delegate work and follow up.
Install and or repair water, gas, oil, steam, air, heating, and plumbing lines.
Install and or repair equipment such as compressors, pumps, and boilers.
Welding installation and repair operations.
Installation, transportation, dismantling, and repair of heavy machinery and mechanical equipment.
Lubrication and preventive maintenance of a variety of industrial equipment.
Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic repairs on industrial equipment.
Monday - Sunday 5pm - 5:30am with Friday and Saturday off
