The Intake Coordinator manages the timely clearance of new infusion therapy referrals and ensures all intake forms are complete and accurate. They are responsible for obtaining insurance authorizations, entering patient data, and communicating referral status to relevant departments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare referral collection and knowledge of insurance verification procedures is required.
