The Filter Service Technician II is responsible for driving service trucks to customer sites to install and inspect HVAC filters. They must also maintain service vehicles, document deficiencies, and ensure all work areas are cleaned upon completion.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting 50 pounds and climbing ladders. Basic HVAC technical knowledge and experience driving box trucks are preferred.

We are hiring a Filter Service Technician II
· Primary Driver of Service Trucks
· Make initial contact with the person in charge when arriving on site and explain the day's work.
· Install HVAC filters in various types of air handlers.
· At the completion of work, you must clean all trash, debris and saturated filters off roof tops and dispose properly.
· Perform visual inspections of each unit during the service.
· Responsible for Service Tech I work assigned.
· Date and initial filters in filter bank.
· Take notes of any deficiencies and forward it to manager to contact the customer.
· Have the paperwork signed.
· Ensure the service vehicle is maintained properly and as noted in vehicles specification guide.
· Accountability of all tools.
· Load and unload truck.
· Make deliveries and pickups when necessary.
· Must be a team player, able to work w/ others.
· On occasion, be able to go out of town for service jobs.
· Must be available to work first, second and weekend shifts when required by our customer needs.
· Able to travel out of town/state - >10% out of town work
· Must be able to pass background check for finger printing and badging access to secure sites
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· High School Diploma.
· Must have transportation to the branch.
· Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
· Must be able to lift weight up to 50 pounds as needed.
· Experience working indoors and outdoors.
· Experience driving 16ft to 24ft box trucks preferred.
· Feel comfortable working with hand tools.
· Basic HVAC technical knowledge preferred.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Clean driving record.
· Must be able to pass the DOT Physical Examination.
· Basic math skills are needed to be able to figure percentages and to verify figures.
· Must be able to professionally communicate w/ customers and coworkers.

· Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is partially indoors and partially outdoors.
· Must be aware of people walking in front of oncoming forklift.
· Safety glasses are always required in the production area to protect against dust and particles.
· Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited in the warehouse, production areas and all service locations.
