We are a medium-size, Norway-based multinational company listed in Oslo on Euronext Growth, with offices in several countries. We have diligent employees from different backgrounds and more than 25 nationalities, and a growing sales network covering all continents.

Our core expertise lies in designing, testing, manufacturing, installing, and operating industrial process installations, used mainly for treating sewage sludge before or after anaerobic digestion in wastewater treatment plants. The technology, known as thermal hydrolysis, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and produces renewable energy, organic fertilizers, and various soil products while destroying pathogens and other harmful substances. Our systems have the capacity to cater to over 120 million individuals across more than 28 countries. We are proud of having cities like Oslo, London, Washington, Singapore, and Sydney among our clients.

About the Role

Our Mild Steel Fabricator/Welders are responsible for manufacturing, fabricating and welding of steel structures in mild steel. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, measuring and preparing materials, cutting, and carrying out welding operations to produce high-quality products that meet company and customer specifications. Our Fabricator/Welders ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and complying with relevant health and safety regulations.

The role will work from our Congleton site, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

  • Measure, mark out, cut, drill, and prepare mild steel materials for fabrication.

  • Assemble fabricated components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings.

  • Carry out MAG Welding to a competent standard.

  • Operate fabrication equipment and machinery safely, including saws, grinders, drills, and cutting equipment.

  • Ensure all work is completed within specified timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

  • Follow all Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, and safe working procedures.

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

  • Comply with company procedures, quality management systems, and customer requirements.

We are looking for

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality fabrication and welding work. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to always working safely.

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in mild steel fabrication and welding.

  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Strong practical skills with fabrication tools, machinery, and welding equipment.

  • A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to meet production demands.

  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

  • The ability to consistently meet quality standards and production deadlines.

We value individuals who are dependable, take ownership of their work, and contribute positively to the team while helping the business deliver excellent products and service to its customers.

Key qualifications and requirements

  • Demonstrable relevant experience in fabrication and welding

  • Willingness to undertake welding qualification tests as required upon employment.
