Maintains the aesthetic and operational environment of Perioperative Services through cleaning and stocking. Assists the care team with patient transport, ambulation, and the efficient turnover of operating rooms.
Requires previous OR experience and a current BLS Certification through the AHA. High school diploma is preferred, with an associate or technical degree also being preferred.

Maintains an acceptable aesthetic environment for Perioperative Services. Performs a variety of stocking and cleaning essential to the efficient turnover of the operating room and other perioperative departments. Assists the perioperative care team in many aspects of patient care within the surgical unit. Assists Central Supply with stocking disposable items used for surgery and communicates openly with materials regarding inventory levels. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations. Must participate in the respiratory protection program, which may include wearing of a respirator.
FTE 1.0 - 8hrs - Variable Shifts
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred.
Previous OR experience required, previous hospital or nursing home experience or
Environmental services experience preferred.
Current BLS Certification through AHA required (upon hire/transfer)
