The telemetry technician provides continuous observation of monitored cardiac patterns. They are responsible for recording monitor strips and communicating any detected dysrhythmias to the registered nurse.
Candidates must have the ability to read and write and must successfully complete a telemetry training program within six weeks. Previous experience in cardiac strip interpretation is preferred.
