Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and a high school diploma. Essential skills include the ability to dispatch and prioritize routes, as well as proficiency in crisis and verbal de-escalation.

Ensure timely, compassionate transportation and assist patients by ensuring they connect with family/friends or housing/shelter representatives. Maintain a safe and clean environment for transport and report any behavioral related issues of concern immediately to direct supervisor. Communicate any infectious and disease control issues and proceed only when a suitable outcome has been advised and administered. Make sure equipment is prepared and ready prior to discharge route. Ensure discharge route does not exceed an 8 -hour transport unless approved by proper officials. Follow all policies and procedures as written.
