The Permitting Inspector coordinates permit management and safety measures for non-work-order activities at the terminal. They also supervise field operations, conduct risk analyses, and facilitate incident investigations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a chemical or technical field and possess at least 4 years of experience in operations, permitting, or safety coordination. Proficiency in Dutch is required, along with a strong understanding of safety legislation and ISO standards.

Als Permitting Inspector ben je verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren en opvolgen van het vergunningsbeheer en de veiligheidsmaatregelen voor niet-werkorder gerelateerde werkzaamheden op de terminal. Door het bewaken van compliance, het uitvoeren van risicoanalyses en het faciliteren van een veilige werkuitvoering draag je actief bij aan een veilige, efficiënte en goed georganiseerde werkomgeving.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
Analyseren en voorbereiden van binnenkomende werkaanvragen op juistheid en volledigheid.
Uitvoeren van risicoanalyses en bepalen van gepaste veiligheidsmaatregelen voor aangevraagde werkzaamheden.
Uitwerken, implementeren en opvolgen van veiligstellingen en maatregelen, inclusief controle op correcte uitvoering.
Toezien op een correcte afhandeling van de vergunningsflow en het instrueren van interne en externe stakeholders.
Operationele coördinatie & Toezicht
Toezicht houden op de naleving van vergunningsvoorschriften in het field en bijsturen waar nodig.
Field vrijgave van vergunningen met een verhoogd risico.
Organiseren en superviseren van bijzondere werkzaamheden op de terminal.
Bewaken van de operationele impact van geplande werken en tijdige communicatie naar betrokken afdelingen.
Uitvoeren van gasmetingen op installaties.
Bijdragen aan het veiligstellen van installaties in samenwerking met operatoren.
Bewaken van orde, netheid en afvalstromen op de terminal en rapporteren van afwijkingen.
Verbeteringen & Incidentbeheer
Signaleren en capteren van verbetersuggesties met betrekking tot veiligheidsprocedures.
Initiëren en voorstellen van verbeteracties en vernieuwde procedures aan HSSE en de Special Operations Supervisor.
Deelnemen aan en coördineren van Root Cause Analyses bij incidenten.
Continu detecteren en rapporteren van incidenten, defecten en opportuniteiten met impact op de terminalwerking.
Kennisdeling
Actief op de hoogte blijven van evoluties binnen veiligheid, vergunningen en terminaloperaties.
Bijdragen aan kennisdeling en opleiding van collega’s.
Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma in een chemische of technische richting of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
Je hebt minstens 4 jaar ervaring binnen operations, vergunningenbeheer en/of veiligheidscoördinatie.
Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen en coachen van medewerkers en weet mensen mee te nemen in veilige werkpraktijken.
Je bent sterk in het stellen van prioriteiten en behoudt vlot het overzicht in een dynamische werkomgeving.
Je bent analytisch sterk, besluitvaardig en communicatief vaardig, en werkt overtuigend samen met zowel interne als externe stakeholders.
Bovenal ben je resultaatsgericht, met een uitgesproken focus op veiligheid, kwaliteit en operationele continuïteit.
Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van veiligheidsprocedures, relevante wetgeving en ISO-normen.
Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands; een basiskennis Engels is een pluspunt.
