Full job description

A leadership role for people who love building cool things with great teams.

At AdvanceTEC, our Construction Managers are the heartbeat of our projects. You’re the person who turns plans into reality — coordinating crews, solving problems in real time, and making sure the work in the field is safe, high‑quality, and on schedule. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Engineers to deliver projects that make our clients say, “This is why we chose AdvanceTEC.”

If you thrive in the field, love leading people, and get energized by seeing progress every single day, this role is built for you.

 What You’ll Do

  • Lead field teams — Guide Site Supers, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft workers to keep the jobsite productive, safe, and aligned.

  • Own day‑to‑day site operations — Coordinate manpower, equipment, deliveries, inspections, and daily work plans.

  • Champion jobsite safety — Ensure every worker goes home safe. Enforce safety plans, conduct audits, and model safe behavior.

  • Manage field logistics — Oversee site setup, trailers, laydown areas, signage, access, and material flow.

  • Execute the schedule — Break down the master schedule into weekly work plans and keep crews on track.

  • Coordinate subcontractors — Hold trade partners accountable for quality, safety, and productivity.

  • Review drawings + specs — Ensure field teams are building from the latest documents.

  • Manage RFIs + field issues — Identify conflicts, submit RFIs, and work with PMs to resolve issues quickly.

  • Support procurement + material tracking — Confirm deliveries, inspect materials, and keep the site stocked and organized.

  • Ensure quality control — Verify installation meets specs, standards, and client expectations.

  • Document progress — Daily reports, photos, updates, and communication through Procore.

  • Support change management — Identify field impacts, support pricing, and help implement changes.

  • Drive project closeout — Punch lists, testing, commissioning support, and turnover documentation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • Hands‑on construction experience — you know how jobsites run and how to lead people.

  • A passion for building and technology — AdvanceTEC is where both worlds meet.

  • A proactive, solutions‑driven mindset — you don’t wait for problems; you get ahead of them.

  • A positive, team‑oriented attitude — you lift people up and keep the energy strong.

  • Tech fluency — Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and scheduling tools.

  • Ability to read drawings, specs, and field documents with confidence.

Where You’ll Work

You’ll be on active project sites — mostly along the East Coast, with occasional travel across the U.S. or Canada depending on project opportunities.

The Good Stuff (Benefits)

We take care of our people — really well.

  • 100% paid: dental, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, life insurance

  • $100/month for Anthem PPO medical (employee‑only plan)

  • 3% 401(k) contribution, plus up to 10% additional at year‑end

  • Annual bonus eligibility

  • Tuition reimbursement

  • Gym membership reimbursement

  • AAA membership reimbursement

  • 15 days PTO in your first year
