The Technician II is responsible for the assembly and rework of printed circuit boards to support R&D and production schedules. They perform tasks such as SMT placement, soldering, inspection, and equipment maintenance while ensuring quality standards are met.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in through-hole and SMT soldering, along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Technician II – SMT Operator is responsible for assembly and rework of printed circuit boards to support R&D activities and to meet production schedules and performance standards. Duties and tasks are standardized but what is performed will vary day to day.

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $30.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour.
