The Residential Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing security and site automation solutions for customers. This includes servicing fire detection, networking, and access control systems while ensuring proper communication with central monitoring.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience installing or repairing ADT or comparable security products. A valid driver's license and the ability to read electrical and building plans are required.

The Residential Service Technician’s primary functions and responsibilities are that of troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing and programming existing security and site automation solutions.
Position Summary:
The Residential Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert who is responsible for alleviating concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. The Residential Service Technician advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.
