Responsible for inspecting manufactured parts and outside services to ensure they meet customer standards. Duties include auditing production phases, performing gage calibrations, and collaborating with engineers for process improvement.

Requirements

Requires 5 years of experience in quality inspection with proficiency in reading blueprints and using GD&T. A high school diploma is preferred, along with strong organizational skills and familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.

Position Summary

Responsible for inspecting parts from manufacturing as well as outside services to ensure they meet and exceed our customer standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Audit quality of production during all phases of manufacture

· Perform first piece, in-progress, and final inspection of machined parts

· Perform Gage calibration and record keeping using Gage Track software.

· Develop detailed in-process and final inspection reports

· Interpret various drawing specifications

· Work with engineers to help develop processes

· Work with manufacturing on continuous progress improvement

· Ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner, prior to deadlines and precise.

· Familiarization with AS9100 and ISO9001:2000 standards

Requirements

 

Qualification Requirements:

· Experience with quality control techniques and methods

· Experience with standard measuring devices

· 5 years of experience performing Quality Inspector responsibilities

· Ability to read blueprints and drawings including GDT.

· Use inspection equipment efficiently

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

· Must be able to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

· Internal Auditing experience is a plus
