The Project Manager I is responsible for coordinating and executing assigned projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. This role supports project planning, resource coordination, and communication across project teams to maintain progress and resolve issues as they arise. The Project Manager I contributes to departmental success by promoting effective project execution, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring project goals are met.
The Project Manager Iassistsin managing project activities, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role supports leaders and project personnel in meeting deliverables, resolving issues, andmaintainingproject visibility.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Supports the planning and coordination of assigned projects to meet established timelines, goals, and performance expectations.
Collaborateswith project team members to define tasks, responsibilities, and project milestones.
Monitors project progress andassistsin adjusting schedules or resource needs asrequired.
Coordinates activities of project personnel, contractors, and other contributors to ensure alignment andtimelyexecution.
Assistsin preparing project updates, status reports, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
Helps identify project risks and supports efforts to develop solutions for challenges encountered during execution.
Communicateswith internal and external partners to support project requirements and address operational issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires aBachelor’s degree in Engineeringor a related discipline; 2+ years of experience in project coordination, construction support, equipment installation support, or related project-based roles or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred: Experience working with contractors or equipment installation teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic understanding of equipment installation or heavy-lifting processes.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
Strong problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks andmaintainproject documentation.
Proficiencyin general office productivity tools.
Ability to analyze information and support decision‑making related to project activities.
Ability to work in varied environments, including office and field settings.
Frequent standing, walking, and movement when working at project sites.
Ability tolift upto 25 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to work in environments with varying climateconditions whenon-site.
May perform tasks both indoors and outdoors.
Occasional exposure to temperatures below 32°F or above 90°F.
Mayencounternoise, dust, and other environmental conditions typical of manufacturing or construction areas.
Interaction with contractors, operations staff, and project teams.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by work area safety standards.
