Full job description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a sales role responsible for generating new high-ticket business opportunities. The SDRs primary function is to prospect, qualify, and nurture leads to set up meetings or calls for the Sales Account Executives (SAEs). This role is designed to give a contractor an opportunity to identify if a role on the 7th Level Sales Team is a good fit for their skill set. A Sales Development Representative is highly motivated, has a strong desire to grow and improve sales techniques, and is comfortable with cold outreach via phone, email, and social media.

U.S. W2 Employees:

W2 Employees in the U.S. qualify for medical (Cigna), dental, vision, company paid short term disability, 401K, FSA, parental leave, and paid time off on the first of the month following hire.

Role Expectations:

  1. NEPQ Adherence Rate: Monitored calls follow NEPQ principles according to current organizational targets.

  2. Calls Made: A minimum of 350 calls are made per day.

  3. Meetings Booked: An average of 5 meetings booked per day achieved.

  4. Show up rate: 50% or more of clients show up to their meetings.

  5. Cash Collection: Minimum of $50,000 cash collected monthly met or exceeded by the 4th month employed and consistently thereafter.

  6. Training: We do things the NEPQ way, and a role here gives you access to the same coveted training that our clients are paying for. We expect that all sales team members are participating in their assigned trainings because we don't just say we believe in NEPQ - we live it.

Pay Type:

Base: $1650 draw-on-commission, paid twice monthly on the 15th and last day of the month.

Commission: Paid weekly on a Monday-Sunday schedule, with payment made on the second Friday after the sales week closes.

Commission Structure:

  1. Cash Collected and Recurring Payment Plans

    1. $0.00 - $18,461: 2%

    2. $18,462 - $23,077: 2.5%

    3. $23,078 - $25,384: 3%

    4. $25,385 - $28,846: 3.5%

    5. $28,847 - $999,999: 4%

  2. 350+ Calls Per Day: $100

  3. $ Per Set: $15

  4. 7th Level University

    1. $50 per sale after client has paid the first full month and company has successfully collected $100

Required Experience:

  1. Minimum 2 years previous experience in sales, high-ticket sales preferred.

  2. Minimum 2 years success in negotiating.

  3. Minimum 4 years in a customer service role.

Education/Certification:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, but equivalent experience plus high-school diploma will also be considered. 

  2. NEPQ Certification or courses strongly preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  2. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

  3. A strong sense of resilience and the ability to handle rejection.

  4. A high degree of persistence and a "hunter" mentality.

  5. Strong time management and organizational skills to manage a high volume of leads and activities.

  6. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft), and other sales tools is a plus.

  7. Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow a career in sales.
