Worked on an Android based application for agriculture industry. Application provides useful information to farmers in their day to day farming. All programing is done using native Java language. Implemented desktop and Web applications for an online debit card sale system. • Implemented .Net Web services (SOA, WCF, ASMX and some BizTalk) to handle back end processing of online debit card sale system. New development was done in C# and in some cases retrofitted in to VB. • Implemented multi threaded desktop applications to manage financial data using .Net, C#, WPF, LINQ, MVP and CAL. Modular design ensured encapsulation of business logic in a class library. Dependency injection pattern and mock injection was used to facilitate testing. • Implemented an ASPX.Net based web site to create and manage debit card data. This tool was created by using C#, SQL 2005, AJAX and JavaScript. • Pioneered Microsoft Sandcastle code document management in the company. Lead a team of programmers that designed, documented, developed the following projects: • IGrab – Purpose of this application is to grab images and videos of interest from the Internet and download them into a local drive. The user interface of the application is developed in Flash (AS3) and it sits on a VC++ ActiveX code. Used as part of www.broadcaster.com. • AI Bot – Implementation of artificial intelligent software to respond to user request in a online video and text chat environment. System can respond to chat messages in different languages and take actions such as jump, run, scratch head etc. System was built by using Flash and Action Script 3, .Net (C#), AIML • Video processing – Developed a multi threaded and multi-processor video processing system to convert existing mpg videos into ‘On2 VP6’ format using .Net(C#), Winforms, ASP.NET, Web services and SQL 2005. A Job server was implemented to process videos on an idling machine in the company.
Worked on .Net based n-tier Web development framework for Law firms. I was leading a team that developed building blocks of the framework. • Using C# and .NET, developed a code editor for VB with ‘intellisense’ and error check support. Application engineers used this editor to build business rules for a law firm using VB. • Developed a lexer and parser for VB using C# and ANTLR to create CodeDOM which was used in error checking and Intellisense. • Code building on the server side on the fly using CodeDOM and .Net Reflection API.
