About this role
The Technical Strategist is the customer-facing technical lead for RLWRLD's partnerships with major industrial, logistics, and technology companies. You'll sit at the intersection of our robotics foundation models and our partners' engineering teams, translating technical capabilities into deployments and commercial agreements that drive the business forward.
What You'll Do
- Build deep understanding of RLWRLD's robotics foundation models and deployment stack to explain them credibly to partner engineers.
- Lead technical conversations with partners from initial meetings through pilot scoping and contract negotiation.
- Bridge our research and engineering teams across Seoul and Tokyo with partner organizations in the US.
- Collaborate with the President, US to structure, scope, and negotiate pilot and partnership terms.
- Work from the San Francisco office approximately three days per week, with occasional travel to partner sites.
What We're Looking For
- 3–10 years in a technical customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, technical consulting, or technical partnerships at a deep-tech, robotics, AI infrastructure, or enterprise software company.
- Strong technical foundation in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or equivalent hands-on experience; comfortable engaging deeply with ML and robotics engineers.
- Proven ability to own commercial conversations and negotiate terms with large enterprises.
- Genuine enthusiasm for physical AI and robotics, with a mindset oriented toward learning and diving deep.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Prior experience at leading deep-tech or AI infrastructure companies is a plus.
- Korean or Japanese language skills are a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
Market-rate compensation with early-stage equity. Specific salary band to be determined based on experience and seniority.
Location
Hybrid (3 days per week on-site) in San Francisco, with occasional travel to partner sites.
