Job Purpose
Our Multi-Skilled Drivers are flexible and adaptable, able to drive any Class 2 vehicle within our fleet to support the business where and when needed, while promoting Slicker’s workplace values. This role can be based at any of the following sites: Stourport, Hull, Newport or Ipswich.

Slicker Recycling is the market-leading specialist in the collection and recycling of waste oils and other hazardous workshop waste. We are one of the UK’s largest waste oil collection service providers, with over 140 front-line vehicles and 9 strategically located sites nationwide. Slicker Sustainability In terms of carbon efficiency and environmental sustainability, Slicker leads the field. Many other service providers process the used oil they collect into a Processed Fuel Oil (PFO). The PFO is often burnt as a fuel in the marine and energy sectors, releasing harmful carbon emissions and consuming a finite resource. Slicker Recycling, however, provides a more sustainable solution. Through our state-of-the-art re-refinery, we contribute to the circular economy by processing the used oil into a base oil product, this product is then used as the main component in the production of brand-new lubricating oils. Through our innovative process, we divert a finite resource from being burnt and help our customers significantly reduce their carbon footprint. One-Stop-Shop Solution In addition to the recycling of used lubrication oil, we provide a wide range of other Slicker services including, workshop waste collections, drainage/interceptor services, fuel supply, parts washers, industrial services, specialist waste collections, emergency spill response, to name a few.
