The Building Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems within the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. This role involves monitoring building automation systems, managing vendor repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Candidates must have at least four years of journey-level experience in HVAC/heat pump maintenance or equivalent training, along with a Universal EPA 608 certification. A high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule including nights and weekends are required.
We are looking for a Building Engineer to join the Halo Sports and Entertainment team! The Building Engineer performs the following skilled and technical duties for Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum: installing, maintaining, replacing, repairing, operating, or assisting in operating all heating and ventilation equipment, engines, motors, emergency generators, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigeration machines, air conditioning units, fans, fan coils, kitchen equipment, solar and back-up battery systems, microgrid controller, CMMS and BMS systems, and preventive maintenance on all building systems. Employees in this job class shall comply with all federal, state, city, and local ordinances. This job class requires comprehensive knowledge of installed equipment maintenance/service and requires you to work independently in a safe and efficient manner.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible and rotating schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
