You will be contributing to the company’s plan by always looking for ways to improve technician efficiency by having the proper truck stock, limited warehouse stock outs, accurate inventory counts, and efficient part runner dispatching. You will ensure that we are able to accomplish our growth plans by having new vehicles onsite and ready for new staff as they come onboard. You will ensure that our vendor relationships are strong and a win for both parties. You will maintain a safe and accountable workplace.
Strong understanding of Service Titan for inventory management
Negotiate vendor pricing
Buyback program for excess inventory, as needed
Maintain process for accountability of techs for truck inventory
Maintain the truck stocking/bin layout mapping
Optimize parts request process
Asset tracking (tools and vehicles) – tying to depreciation schedule
Maintain up to date material pricing in Service Titan
Maintain the vehicle procurement and disposal process
Use knowledge of supply house product offering, best price, strengths and locations to maximize efficiency and save the company money
Meet individual goals and KPI’s
Maintain annual budget, control expenses and meet or exceed plan
Meet performance requirements to ensure that accuracy and safety goals are met
Participate in weekly 1 v 1 meetings
Participate in 100-day plans, including follow up during weekly 1 v 1
Maintain material return process
Maintain warranty return process
Maintain process to return excess materials from jobs
Maintain purchase order process and material receiving process
Assist in product and material research for technicians
Manage next day installs and installs in general, with regards to material and equipment staging and materials fulfillment
Maintain truck inventory cycle count and full count process
Maintain new truck inventory set up process
Maintain truck replenishment process
Manage staff fielding calls from tech/install crews on materials needed for jobs. Facilitating the best place to source and use warehouse staff to deliver. Then coordinate deliveries to and from job sites
Vehicle maintenance – tracking, scheduling, maintenance, and repairs
Manage tool maintenance and repairs
Maintain tool and equipment check in/out process
Maintain warehouse maximize efficiency to streamline operations
Ensures warehouse is neat & clean
Maintain warehouse inventory process for full and cycle counts
Maintain warehouse replenishment process
Conduct regular safety inspections. Maintain tech PPE, and overall safety within the warehouse
You should have experience in supply chain, operations, and inventory management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Self-starter/resourceful - able to independently work, learn and plan with minimal guidance to drive tasks to conclusion
Experience with inventory management software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with different company departments
The ability to understand and drive key performance indicators
Capable of learning on the fly with a focus on problem-solving
Self-motivated who is accountable for one’s work
Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with data
High degree of action orientation and strong negotiation skills
