Retail Banking and Wealth has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of retail banking and wealth capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Wealth Manager, Digital Currencies.

Principal responsibilities 

• Lead wealth product due diligence and set-up activities for products involving digital currencies, including governance submissions/approvals, distribution arrangements, and fee structures
• Drive implementation of customer investment suitability and risk disclosure requirements, ensuring digital currencies specific risks are appropriately accessed and communicated
• Partner with Transformation, IT and Operations to define requirements and deliver the technology and operating model capabilities needed for wealth products involving digital currencies
• Implement effective commercialization and marketing initiatives in partnership with Marketing, Distributions and relevant teams, including go-to-market planning, client proposition messaging, channel readiness and performance tracking
• Support ongoing governance and control activities for internal assurance, external audit and regulatory reviewed related to the digital currencies wealth product scope

Requirements 

• University degree holder, preferably majoring in Business Administration or a related discipline
• Possess understanding of overall banking products. Experience in payments and transactional banking, digital projects would be a plus
• Industry experience in Hong Kong in a digital asset is a strong advantage
• Strong financial acumen and project management skills
• Able to work independently and proactively
• Strategic thinker with strong customer centric, analytical and innovation mind set
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking
• Able to work with stakeholders from various functions and disciplines to drive business outcomes
• Fluent in Cantonese and English with good presentation skills
