Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solutions Architect to work with our customers, partners, and other AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions in Brazil.

Key job responsibilities
- You will be responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy alongside sales and business development teams to delight our Enterprise customers and partners in the Public Sector through a deep relationship with AWS.
- You will partner with customers and cross-functional AWS teams to design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
- You will guide customers in successfully building, migrating, and optimizing applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- You will educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- You will capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community, including authoring or contributing to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and reference architectures

A day in the life
As a Solution Architect, you will go beyond the technical solution architecture and work with the account teams, specialists and partners to deliver a practical solution that will accelerate the customers business outcome. You will also contribute to uplifting your knowledge through the broad catalogue of accreditation and education opportunities that AWS offer.

Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
