Summary:
As a Security Architect, you will define and implement enterprise data protection and database security frameworks using IBM Guardium solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and compliance objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with security, database, infrastructure, and compliance teams to assess data security requirements, implement Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), Data Discovery & Classification, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls, and strengthen the organization's overall data security posture. You will engage in discussions to refine security strategies, support regulatory compliance initiatives, and ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Design and implement IBM Guardium solutions to meet specific data protection, security, and compliance requirements.
Deploy, configure, and maintain IBM Guardium appliances, Collectors, Aggregators, and S-TAP agents.
Implement and manage Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), Data Discovery & Classification, and Data Compliance capabilities.
Develop and deploy Guardium policies, rules, alerts, reports, and workflows for monitoring and compliance enforcement.
Monitor database activities and identify potential security threats, risks, vulnerabilities, and policy violations.
Analyze Guardium audit data, reports, and security events to identify trends, patterns, and anomalous activities.
Support data protection initiatives across enterprise databases, data warehouses, big data platforms, and cloud environments.
Assist with data compliance audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting activities.
Provide technical guidance and support for database security, data protection, and Guardium administration.
Troubleshoot and resolve Guardium appliance, infrastructure, agent, and policy-related issues.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Facilitate training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security measures.
Stay up to date with the latest IBM Guardium features, enhancements, security threats, and industry best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring.
Good To Have Skills: Experience with DLP, Data Classification.
Good to have certifications of IBM Guardium V11.0.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Experience with risk assessment and management methodologies.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 7-8 years of experience in Data Security (DAM, DLP, Data Classification, MS Purview).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
