The Lead Teacher plans and leads engaging activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum while ensuring program compliance with state and school regulations. They are also responsible for daily operational tasks, family communication via the Playground App, and team collaboration.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Early Childhood, a CDA credential with 1 year of experience, or 9 credits in a related field with 2 years of experience. Applicants must be medically cleared and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

JOB STATUS: Part time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Uriah Hill Elementary School in Peekskill, NY
PAY: $17.00 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:30 am and 2:15 - 6:00 pm
Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 3–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. Employer contributions cover the cost of care, so you can focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.
