The Executive Medical Director serves as the Medical Monitor for clinical trials, ensuring patient safety, protocol compliance, and scientific integrity. They lead the analysis of clinical data and author key technical documents to support regulatory submissions and program objectives.
Requires an MD or equivalent with over 5 years of clinical research experience and a strong background in oncology drug development. Candidates must have experience leading programs from early-phase through late-stage registrational studies and global regulatory submissions.
The Role
The Executive Medical Director, Medical Monitor is a key member of the Clinical Development team responsible for the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies. Serving as the medical monitor for Agenus programs, this individual provides scientific and medical leadership while maintaining accountability for the review, interpretation, and communication of clinical trial data. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Executive Medical Director supports protocol development, study conduct, regulatory activities, and data-driven decision making. This is a highly hands-on role requiring sound medical judgment and a proactive, "roll up your sleeves" approach to advancing clinical development programs.
