The Creative Director will translate the CEO's vision into a consistent brand aesthetic across all channels, including social media, campaigns, and physical retail spaces. They are responsible for leading the marketing team, setting the creative bar, and executing hands-on production tasks like shooting and editing.
Candidates must have proven experience in a high-level creative or marketing leadership role with a strong portfolio demonstrating a clear point of view. Proficiency in English and Dutch is required, along with a deep understanding of fashion, streetwear culture, and social media strategy.
As Creative Director, you own how Suspicious Antwerp shows up in the world. You turn our CEO's vision into a clear creative direction and carry it through everything we put out: the concepts, the visuals, the feed, the campaigns. You decide what we say, how we look, and how it feels, and you keep that one recognizable aesthetic consistent wherever people meet the brand. That could be an event with a partner, the way our stores and showroom are dressed, or the content we drop that day. Social is where it all comes together, because that's where everything happens for us, so that's where you push hardest.
You know our market. You read what's happening in fashion and streetwear, you feel who's doing what and where it's heading, and you turn that into work that keeps us ahead of it. You have a real eye for aesthetics and you know fashion, you don't just follow the culture, you set the tone.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a sit-back-and-delegate one. You set the creative bar and lead the team that hits it, but on the days that matter you're in it yourself: shaping concepts, shooting, editing, writing. You think in strategy and you build with your hands, and you're the link between where the brand wants to go and what people actually see.
What you'll be doing
Translate the CEO's vision into a clear creative direction across everything we make
Carry one consistent brand aesthetic everywhere we show up: social, campaigns, our stores and showroom, events and partnerships
Own our social presence as the heart of it all, from concept to feed, and make sure every drop speaks to the people we want to reach
Keep your finger on the market: read where fashion is moving, sense who's doing what, and spot the next thing before it's obvious
Lead and grow a young marketing team, and make sure the best idea always wins
Jump in hands-on when it counts: concepts, shoots, edits, captions
Set and protect the creative bar in everything we put out
Keep creative and production on schedule with smart processes and planning
Work closely with operations, partnerships, and talent to make campaigns happen
What you bring
Proven experience leading creative at a high level, either several years in a creative or marketing role, or a comparable Creative Director position before
A real point of view on brand and creative, and the work to prove it (portfolio)
A deep feel for our market: you know fashion, you follow the culture, and you understand who moves it and why
A sharp eye for aesthetics, and taste you can defend and translate to any format, from a feed to a physical space
Both sides of the brain: you set strategy and you execute it yourself, equally strong
Strong social instincts. You know what makes an audience grow and why
Experience leading a team and getting more out of people
Native-level English and Dutch
You understand the Suspicious Antwerp aesthetic down to the detail, and you keep raising the bar for it
