Act as a liaison between CityVet and veterinary schools to promote externships, career opportunities, and events. Support campus engagement through the planning and coordination of networking events and lunch-and-learns.
Applicants must be current DVM students enrolled at an AVMA-accredited veterinary school. Candidates should be reliable, organized, and comfortable communicating with their peers.
CityVet is currently accepting applications for Student Ambassadors for the upcoming academic year. This paid opportunity is designed for veterinary students who enjoy connecting with their peers, supporting campus engagement, and exploring career pathways within veterinary medicine.
CityVet Ambassadors play a key role in strengthening relationships between their veterinary school and CityVet while gaining valuable professional experience and mentorship.
CityVet Student Ambassadors serve as on-campus representatives who help share information about externships, career opportunities, and student events. Ambassadors work closely with the CityVet Campus Recruitment team to support meaningful engagement throughout the academic year.
Ambassadors act as a liaison between CityVet and their veterinary school. Responsibilities include:
CityVet covers all approved event-related expenses. Ambassadors are never expected to cover costs out of pocket.
This role offers practical experience and early career exposure, including:
CityVet is a veterinarian-founded, led, and owned organization focused on providing high-quality medicine while supporting the people who practice it. CityVet clinics emphasize clinical autonomy, individualized mentorship, collaborative team culture, and opportunities for shared ownership. Each clinic is locally led by a veterinarian and supported by a centralized home office team so doctors can focus on patient care and professional growth.
Previous ambassador experience is not required.
