Perform electronic and mechanical assembly of wafer fabrication equipment in a clean-room environment using schematics and hand tools. Ensure quality through visual inspections, leak checks, and the documentation of non-conformance items.
Requires 2-4 years of mechanical assembly experience and an Associate's degree or technical certificate in Engineering. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 35 pounds.

At Lam, as an Assembler, you play a vital role in electronic, electron-mechanical, and mechanical product assembly on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) in a lean manufacturing clean-room environment. You’ll use your insights, computer-based instructions, hand tools and fixtures to install parts and hardware. Your expertise ensures precise setup and adjustments, holding tolerances to specifications, and contributes to the quality of Lam's products.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
