The Quality Technician ensures electrical control panels meet engineering specifications and regulatory standards through rigorous inspection and testing. The role focuses on preventing defects, managing non-conformances, and driving continuous process improvements on the production floor.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the electrical field, with strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and ISO9001. Proficiency in NETA testing and the ability to interpret electrical drawings and BIM models are required.
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring electrical control panels are built, tested, and released to meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards such as UL508A, NEC, and ISO. The role focuses on preventing defects, improving First Pass Yield (FPY), and enabling consistent, repeatable production processes.
This role will report directly to and work with the Director of Operations to drive quality from the floor. There is a growth opportunity to develop into a Quality Manager to oversee this role in the future.
