We are looking for a Customer Manager who combines a strong sales drive with a solid understanding of digital transformation and technology-driven business change and a genuine curiosity for customer challenges. You enjoy developing trusted relationships, understanding business priorities, and working together with customers and experts to create solutions that generate measurable business value.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Customer Manager, you

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers in the Automotive & Manufacturing sector
• Understand customers’ business challenges, strategic priorities, and transformation ambitions
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, helping them navigate complex business and technology challenges
• Work closely with our consulting and solution teams to co-create solutions that deliver real business value
• Connect customer needs with Tieto Tech Consulting's capabilities across Software Engineering, Data & AI, Cloud and Enterprise Solutions
• Take ownership of identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.
• Balance customer value with commercial thinking to create sustainable partnerships
• Represent Tieto Tech Consulting in customer engagements, industry events, and professional networks

Who we are looking for:

You might currently work as a Senior or Lead Consultant, Engagement Manager, Solution Lead, Account Executive, or in another customer-facing role within the IT consulting or technology services industry. What matters most is not your job title. We are looking for someone who has a high ambition to generate sustainable new business, a natural ability to connect with people, and a can-do mindset.

You bring:

• Several years of experience in IT consulting, technology services, or digital transformation in a customer-facing role
• Experience working with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into meaningful opportunities and solutions
• Strong understanding of the Automotive and/or Manufacturing industry
• A customer-first mindset combined with sound commercial judgement
• Skilled at bringing together the right experts to solve complex customer challenges and create lasting value
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ownership, curiosity and the drive to turn customer challenges into successful collaborations
• Fluency in German and English

Unlike traditional sales roles, success in this position comes from understanding customer challenges, building trusted partnerships, and connecting business needs with the right consulting and technology expertise. As an individual, you are relationship-oriented, curious, and comfortable navigating both strategic discussions and commercial opportunities.

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 65.000,00 (based on IT collective agreement, ST2 Regelstufe) on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our aim is to provide you with a salary package that is both competitive and reflective of your relevant experience, while also aligning with current market standards.
