What You'll Do:
Position Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will drive excellence in supply chain management by leading procurement, planning, inventory, and supply chain operations for the Blowers & Compressors business. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable material availability, improving supply chain performance, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement across procurement and inventory processes. The position will also assess and support procurement needs for the company by supporting additional projects and duties as assigned to identify additional opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency, vendor management, and spend governance across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role leads a team of supply chain professionals and works closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and other functions to support business objectives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement, planning, inventory, and supply chain activities.
- Develop and execute operational supply chain and procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate and improve purchasing, inventory, and supplier management processes.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to inventory, supplier performance, on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, and procurement effectiveness.
- Manage material availability and replenishment parameters within ERP systems.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT to support demand planning, inventory management, and process improvements.
- Develop accurate demand forecasts of all items line items for their accountable segment of the business by using a combination of statistical forecasting integrated with insights gained via partnering with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance departments. Ensure consistent integration into the forecast of customer insights, base business trends, and new item volumes to reduce working capital and minimize forecast error.
- Work closely with the IT department to create effective databases to manage and organize warehouse inventory.
- Acts as part of the Operations & Production team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launch to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, negotiate agreements, improve spend visibility, and strengthen procurement governance for both direct and indirect spend categories (e.g., production materials, office supplies, and other business-related and operational purchases).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers while promoting company initiatives and values.

- Demonstrated ability to negotiate supplier agreements and manage vendor relationships.
- Experience identifying cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization opportunities.
- Ability to analyze spend, inventory, forecasting, and supplier performance data to support business decisions.
- Experience developing and monitoring KPIs and operational performance metrics.
- Experience evaluating and improving procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical operational improvements.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Operations, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and IT functions without direct authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, SAP and MS Dynamics Navison (Business Central) knowledge.
- Spanish Speaking a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time as needed.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business/Supply Chain/Procurement or related field required.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, inventory management, or related operational leadership roles within manufacturing, industrial, engineered products, or capital equipment environments required.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement process improvement strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with C-TPAT program compliance.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE) - Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots & Gloves.
- Ability to Travel on Airplane, Train and/or Car.
