Maintain cleanliness of building at all times.  Cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and grounds keeping.  Maintain grounds in a safe manner and pleasing appearance according to the season. Maintain a safe environment for members and staff while performing work duties. Assist with room set up and breakdown, and snow removal as needed. Evaluate and report any health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor. Maintain an adequate inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies. Follow all Association and applicable safety standards when performing any tasks. Assist with maintaining all buildings and fire suppression inspections. Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsWhat You'll Need High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 years’ experience in maintenance or custodial field. Demonstrate knowledge of basic custodial equipment and functions  Ability to relate well with staff and public Obtain and/or maintain a valid driver’s license Be willing to alter work schedule to deal with job demands and manage competing priorities Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire Basic computer skills required Must be fluent in spoken and written English Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
