KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and execute procurement strategies for direct and indirect categories to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
· Savings & Cash Optimization: Drive cost savings initiatives, negotiate contracts, and implement cash extension strategies to improve working capital.
· Process Excellence & Digitalization: Lead procurement process improvements, automation, and digitalization to enhance efficiency and compliance.
· Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Finance, to align procurement strategies with business needs.
· Supplier & Risk Management: Develop strong supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and ensure business continuity.
· Talent Development & Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
· Change & Innovation: Challenge the status quo, drive innovative sourcing solutions, and implement best practices to create long-term value.
· Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Conduct (COC) policy.
· Spend in Scope for direct portfolio (Chemicals, Packaging & Contract Manufacturing): >20m USD
· Spend in Scope for indirect portfolio (Business services, Capex, Equipment & Logistics): >20m USD
· Team management: One person in direct portfolio reporting and One person dotted line in indirect portfolio
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree & experience in Chemical industry is a plus
· Minimum 6+ years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in people manager role
· Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Good English language skills both oral and written is a must.
