The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of site projects from concept to completion. The role focuses on supporting safe mining operations through effective project delivery, cost control, and stakeholder engagement.
Candidates must hold a degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline. Previous experience as a Project Engineer in underground mining, civil construction, or heavy industry is required.
Redpath is a leading global mining contractor with over 60 years of experience delivering safe, innovative and reliable underground mining solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at the Dugald River Project near Cloncurry, Queensland.
The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination and engineering of site projects from concept through to completion. This role plays a key part in supporting safe and productive mining operations through effective project delivery, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance, cost control and performance reporting.
The successful candidate will build and maintain strong client relationships by accurately monitoring project progress, providing technical support and ensuring timely communication on project status, risks and opportunities.
