Provide geological support for underground stoping operations, including mapping, interpretation, and grade control sampling. Coordinate diamond drilling programs and collaborate with contractors to optimize production and update geological models.
Requires a tertiary qualification in Geology or Geosciences and experience as an underground mine geologist, specifically with stoping operations. Proficiency in grade control, QAQC, and geological modelling tools like Leapfrog or Deswik is preferred.

What’s the opportunity?
Ernest Henry Operations is launching a new underground stoping project, a brand-new mining area that will play a key role in the future of the operation. This is a rare opportunity to join a project from the very beginning, helping to shape how geology is executed within a newly established stoping environment.
As a Geologist, you’ll be embedded within an autonomous crew structure, working closely with the mining contractor and playing a hands-on role in establishing processes, supporting production geology, and contributing to early stope design and execution. This role offers a high level of ownership, strong operational exposure, and the ability to directly influence how the mine develops.
