Drive safety, health, and environmental compliance by developing annual SHE plans and conducting risk assessments. Lead incident investigations and provide subject matter expertise on machine safety and regulatory requirements to support the Quality department.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical or safety-related field and at least 5 years of SHE experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in both Dutch and English and a strong knowledge of GMP and Lean principles are essential.
Job Description
As a SHE Compliance Engineer, you support the CoE Quality department by driving safety, health, and environmental compliance. You develop and implement the annual SHE plan, conduct risk assessments and incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented. In addition, you advise on regulatory compliance, support investment projects, and represent the department during audits and inspections.
You work closely with production teams and SHE specialists across the site to promote a strong safety culture. The role covers a broad range of SHE topics, including process and machine safety, ergonomics, hazardous substances, PPE, and organizational safety improvement, helping to embed a safety-first mindset throughout the organization.
