Provide technical assistance to surgeons by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures. Responsible for operating room setup, turnover, and ensuring accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments for patient safety.
Requires a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program, and CST and CPR certifications. One year of experience as a Surgical Technician is preferred.
