Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational services for adult patients within the scope of a student permit. Responsibilities include scheduling procedures, communicating with physicians, and following hospital infection control protocols.
Candidates must be enrolled in a respiratory program and possess a High School Diploma or GED. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a Student Permit to Practice Respiratory Care are required.
The Student Respiratory position provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational services for adult patients to the extent that their Student Permit to Practice Respiratory Care allows. This is a developmental position, intended for incumbents to gain the expertise and skills to successfully complete education requirements.
