The analyst is responsible for the processing, analysis, and assessment of water and indoor air samples for bacteria, yeast, and fungi. Key tasks include maintaining quality registrations, participating in ring tests, and ensuring daily laboratory operations meet conservation deadlines.
Candidates must have a completed MBO degree as a microbiological analyst or an equivalent qualification. The role requires a high level of accuracy, a quality-oriented mindset, and the ability to function well within a team environment.
Wil jij bijdragen aan een gezonde werk- en leefomgeving? Voor ons microbiologisch laboratorium in Breda zoeken wij een nauwkeurige en betrokken Microbiologisch Analist. In ons laboratorium analyseren wij onder andere watermonsters op legionella en voeren wij onderzoeken uit op bacteriën, gisten en schimmels in binnenlucht. Dat maakt jouw rol afwisselend, inhoudelijk interessant en maatschappelijk relevant.
Als microbiologisch analist ben je dagelijks bezig met het inzetten, analyseren en beoordelen van monsters. Je werkt zorgvuldig, secuur en volgens vaste kwaliteitsprocedures. Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:
Het inzetten en analyseren van monsters, zowel morfologisch als met analyseapparatuur.
Het samenwerken met collega-analisten en de teamleider om kennis te delen en doelen te behalen.
Het bijhouden van controlekaarten en kwaliteitsregistraties.
Het meewerken aan ringonderzoeken.
Het bijdragen aan een soepel verloop van de dagelijkse laboratoriumwerkzaamheden binnen de gestelde conserveringstermijnen.
Waar kom je te werken?
Je werkt op onze vestiging in Breda, waar ongeveer 60 collega’s actief zijn in diverse laboratoria. Binnen het microbiologisch laboratorium werken 8 analisten dagelijks aan uiteenlopende analyses rondom mogelijke microbiologische besmetting van water en omgevingslucht.
Het grootste deel van de monsters bestaat uit watermonsters voor legionella-analyse, maar we onderzoeken ook andere bacteriën. Daarnaast analyseren we binnenlucht op bacteriën, gisten en schimmels. De werkzaamheden zijn veelzijdig en vragen om flexibiliteit, nauwkeurigheid en samenwerking. Analisten zijn breed inzetbaar en werken gedurende de dag vaak aan meerdere analysetechnieken.

Je hebt in ieder geval:
Een afgeronde MBO-opleiding microbiologisch analist of vergelijkbaar;
Nauwkeurigheid en oog voor detail;

Affiniteit met laboratoriumwerk en kwaliteitsgericht werken.
