Job Summary:
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the Netherlands and able to work remote with technical support across the central region. This position reports to the EU Central Field Service Manager and is part of the Field Service team and requires weekly travels.
The Field Service Engineer (EU Central) will provide professional field service support for Molecular Devices products, performing to agreed service levels for all customers within the assigned territory. This will include installations, service repair and preventative maintenance for Molecular Devices instruments.
You will join a team of dedicated Field Service Professionals, contributing to our success by utilizing critical thinking to analyze and solve problems, implementing suitable solutions. You will consistently provide timely, high quality, on-site troubleshooting and maintenance services for high-performance bio-analytical measurement and research instrumentation.
Become proficient in the support of our world class products so that you can provide consistent, world class services and support to our customers.
Take responsibility for assigned customer service inquiries, repairs, installations, preventative maintenance and OQ schedules.
Support our customer to fast-track scientific discoveries, as you help us pave the way for advanced disease detection, drug discovery, and therapeutic development, crucial for improving human health and wellness.
Minimum 3 years of Industry relevant work experience in a similar role
Good mechanical, electronics, and electrical experience and knowledge of assembly level fault detection and testing (Instrument specific training will be provided).
Applicants must be customer focussed, able to communicate well and able to work independently, taking ownership of issues from beginning to end.
Ability to travel – Minimum of 80% utilization. Regular overnight travel will be required, within primarily the Benelux Region. With occasional travel to other locations for training and to assist other service teams, as the need arises.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
