You will manage the end-to-end development of perfume products from laboratory scale to industrial production. This includes executing trials, optimizing formulations, and ensuring quality standards are met during technology transfer.
Candidates must hold a degree in Food, Cosmetic, or Pharma Technology, Chemistry, or Bioscience Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and French is mandatory, and a valid Swiss work permit is required.

Our first commercial focus is a genuine breakthrough for the perfume industry: alcohol‑free fine fragrances. We already have our first products on the market with reputable brand partners and are now preparing global launches to establish Microcaps as the reference for next‑generation fragrance bases.
With our dedicated perfume factory being finalized in 2025, our mission for 2026 is clear: make alcohol‑free fine fragrance available worldwide.
To strengthen our team in Schlieren (ZH) we are looking for a
As Formula & Product Developer you are part of the Development Team that creates products for our customers. This means you develop products based on our existing PerfumePearl Technology. This starts with POCs (proof-of-concept) to create the first Woo, continues with lab scale development and is finalized with technology transfer to our pilot plants and industrial scale machines. In all project phases, you keep an eye on potential improvements regarding formulation, process parameters and work instructions.

Microcaps developed a novel technology that enables the scalable production of precise microcapsules and microparticles based on microfluidics. With this invention, microcaps is able to increase the controlled production by a factor of 1000 compared to state-of-the-art technologies. Our goal is to provide an upscalable, fully-automated encapsulation micro-factory, that enables size control, precise dosing and increased stability of the microcapsules and microparticles.
