Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to Manage an assigned territory of Customers which primarily includes identifying and gaining new business opportunities while maintaining current business and maintaining the leased equipment. This position will be responsible for the Chicago metropolitan area including Indiana and Illonois. Responsibilities include promoting the use of YKK machinery with customers in the territory, maintaining leased machinery in optimum working condition, regularly informing customers of the scope and capability of YKK’s equipment portfolio, training customers on proper use and care of equipment and ensure that customers are receiving the highest quality products and services by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1 Promotes the expansion of the leased equipment business by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for lease equipment and expanding or securing product sales within their territory.
Provides machine-related and product-related sales presentations to customers.
Coordinates and reports sales activities with Sales HQ and all sales divisions about customer and market trends relating to manufacturing and leased equipment.
Works with sales to increase lease sales.
Assists the accounting department in monitoring and collecting from delinquent accounts.
Manages and plans annual travel and entertainment expenses.
2. Works with Sales and National F/S Manager on new customer equipment lease transaction as well as production problems related to leased equipment and product. Tracks and recommends solutions to reduce disruption to customer’s production and quality experience. Records and reports leased equipment quality problems to Sales, National F/S Manager and FTC which may require further study and assistance from R&D, Manufacturing or Sales.
Monitor parts usage trends of leased equipment.

3. Coordinates and performs professional and timely routine service checks and repairs the leased machines as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation of the machines in our customer’s plants. Monitors and solves problems related to the quality of lease equipment, parts and the YKK product used in the machines. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and YKK standards by monitoring safety requirements.
4. Responsible to coordinates installation of new equipment at the customer plant and assists in training engineers, mechanics and operators in the correct and safe operation and repair of leased equipment.
5. Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 years of related experience in Equipment maintenance and sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be skilled in maintenance of machinery or similar experience. Equipment of technical sales experience is preferred. Must be able to work closely with sales teams to promote the use of equipment.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid Drivers License
Travel Requirements: 70% overnight travel required on a national basis.
