The Automation Engineer II designs, programs, and tests automated machinery to streamline manufacturing processes and improve product reliability. They are responsible for auditing equipment, drafting design specifications, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 6 years of automation engineering experience, specifically within plastic injection molding. Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably IQMS) and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is preferred.
