The Refrigeration Lead coordinates daily maintenance activities and provides technical support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of refrigeration systems. This role also involves mentoring team members, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of experience in industrial maintenance or refrigeration. Proficiency with ammonia systems, electrical controls, and PLC operations is preferred, along with RETA certification.
Job Summary:
Second Shift: Monday - Friday from 2:30PM - 11:00PM
Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday from 10:00PM - 7:00AM
The Refrigeration Technician Lead will provide leadership and advanced technical support within the refrigeration department. This role is responsible for coordinating daily workflow, supporting team members, and ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant operation of all refrigeration systems. The Lead Technician will serve as a key resource for troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication between the refrigeration team and management.
