Acts as the technical bridge between supply chain manufacturing and design engineering to ensure the quality of steam turbine blades. Responsible for qualifying suppliers, resolving non-conformance requests, and implementing manufacturing process improvements.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and experience in manufacturing steam turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery. Must be proficient in English and possess a strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
In this role, the individual shall provide focused, streamlined, and consistent support onsite at a manufacturing facility. The Design Liaison Engineer will handle Steam Turbine Blade and other Steam-Path parts Qualification, support the implementation of new technologies and manufacturing processes, disposition of Nonconformance requests, Tolerance stack-up and modification issues, support manufacturing quality improvement initiatives, trend defects and recommend resolution for recurring issues.
