Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC provides distribution services and technology solutions to the entertainment industry. We help studios, broadcasters and digital retailers localize and distribute their feature and episodic titles to global audiences on-time and with superior quality.

Our service offerings cover end-to-end workflows including language services such as scripting, subtitling, access services, dubbing, text and metadata localization in over 50 languages. Our technical services master and prepare this content in all distribution products including digital cinema, digital media and physical media (Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD).

To date, we serviced thousands of titles for iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Movies Anywhere and others. We also authored thousands of Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD titles. Our research and development team works on cutting-edge technologies such as 4K, high dynamic range (Dolby Vision, HDR10+), artificial intelligence and machine learning, software automation and our proprietary end-to-end operating platform branded as pHelix.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all QC, QA, conformance, and technical tasks related to localization asset check, reformat or delivery to internal or external parties in different business lines such as OTT, broadcast, and CEA
  • Adhere to client spec and internal checklists and workflows
  • Review technical specifications to recommend checks for quality control process and to facilitate R&D for possible automated checks
  • Continuously research and identify new tools and systems to enhance operational workflows
  • Update workflows and checklists according to client specifications as needed
  • Participate in training and development activities in the Localization Department within the scope of Subtitling Technical Services and use the knowledge gained through training in performing day-to-day tasks
  • Other tasks as assigned to fulfil responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, media or relevant majors
  • 1-2 years of experience and/or education in localization (subtitling or dubbing)
  • Some experience in digital media, entertainment, audio or video editing or translation
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines, and to shift between different client requirements and style guides
  • Positive attitude toward teamwork
  • Positive attitude toward learning new skills and handling different projects
  • Experience in localization (subtitling or dubbing) is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of professional subtitling software is highly desirable
  • Ability to work on night/overnight/weekend/rotational shift
  • High level of attention to details, accurate and methodical approach to testing, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly focused and not easily distracted
  • High sense of ownership and commitment
  • Shift details:
    • Night shift from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
    • Overnight shift from 12:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
    • Transportation from/to certain spots to/from office.
