Job Description
Your job will be focused on engaging and fostering communities of our players on Steam, Discord, and beyond. You will be the bridge between the players' expectations and the development team's reality, ensuring that our community remains a healthy, exciting, and productive place to be. This is a fully remote position.
Duties
Actively manage the vibe of the community, de-escalating conflicts and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
Recruit, train, and inspire a global team of volunteer moderators. You'll be responsible for keeping them motivated and aligned with our community guidelines.
Bridge the gap between dev and player. You will produce dev logs, write engaging posts, and film/edit gameplay videos to showcase new features and progress.
Analyze community sentiment and feedback. You will prepare weekly reports for the production team to help prioritize the product backlog with actionable player insights.
Design and execute creative activities, from high-stakes contests to casual community challenges, to keep engagement high.
Execute social media campaigns and maintain a close line of communication with influencers and content creators.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in community management within the gaming industry.
Proven ability to manage volunteer teams and keep them engaged without a traditional payroll structure.
Hands-on experience in content creation (video editing, streaming, or graphic design) is essential for demonstrating new game features.
Ability to turn "community noise" into structured data and weekly reports that a development team can actually use.
Fluent in written and verbal English.
In-depth knowledge of Discord, Steam Community Hub, Reddit, and major social platforms.
