Role Profile

We are seeking a professional to join our team in the role of Asia Product Governance Lead within Securities Services. The role is responsible for strengthening product governance, oversight and control across the Asia product portfolio. This includes supporting the development and maintenance of governance standards, product documentation, control processes, operating model reviews and product lifecycle oversight. The role works closely with product, sales, client management, operations, technology, finance and other functional teams to promote consistency, improve transparency and support effective decision-making.

The role will also support commercial oversight through management information, financial monitoring and strategic investment planning, helping ensure that product priorities, investment decisions and governance requirements are aligned.

In this role you will:

• Lead product governance across the Asia portfolio, ensuring consistent standards, controls and oversight ensuring global alignment.
• Maintain and enhance product governance frameworks, processes and toolkits.
• Oversee core product documentation, including collateral, service definitions and catalogue content.
• Support product lifecycle governance, including reviews, risk assessments, approvals and market enhancements.
• Streamline governance reporting and MI to improve transparency, prioritisation and decision-making.
• Drive AI-enabled transformation initiatives to improve governance, reporting, efficiency and decision-making across the portfolio, while ensuring appropriate risk and control oversight.
• Partner across product, sales, client management, operations and technology to drive aligned execution.
• Use dashboards and analysis to assess performance, escalate issues and support senior stakeholder decisions.
• Provide financial oversight across budgets, forecasts, spend, benefits tracking and investment governance.
• Support strategic investment planning, including prioritisation, business cases, funding needs and outcome tracking.
• Manage core portfolio finance processes, including budgeting, capitalisation, cost allocation and long-term planning, with regular engagement across Finance, COO, delivery teams and senior governance forums.
• Review product roadmaps, including dependencies, investment needs and value considerations.
• Drive ad hoc improvements to governance, controls and process efficiency.

To be successful you will need:

• A high-quality degree level education
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Presentation skills and ability to present executive information
• Significant experience in product governance, product management, business management, or a similar role within financial services.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, governance frameworks and operating model oversight.
• Experience of working across multiple stakeholder groups, including product, sales, client management, operations, technology and finance.
• Proven experience of implementing product control standards, including change control, financial management, risk management and reporting
• Process improvement methodologies, for example LEAN, Six Sigma, Work Out
• Be able to prioritise and manage conflicting demands by demonstrating good organisational skills.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Display good negotiation and influencing skills and can use these skills appropriately.
• Be a positive, dynamic, and resilient individual, open to change and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
