Full job description
Deloitte is the world’s number one professional services firm and making an impact is more than what we do. It is why we are here. We bring challenge, curiosity and edge to every project, driving positive progress for our clients, our people, our communities and the planet. This purpose inspires us to work to the highest standards and to tackle the challenges that matter. Number one never stops challenging.
In a market that demands a critical balance between accelerating performance and protecting long-term value, Deloitte stands as the world’s leading professional services firm and a trusted strategic partner. We bring challenge, curiosity, and a provocative edge to every engagement - from high-stakes mergers and acquisitions to complex restructurings, valuations, and forensic investigations. By combining deep industry expertise with a global footprint, we empower our clients to navigate complexity, act decisively, and meet the rising demands for transparency. At Deloitte, we don't just follow conventional thinking; we unlock and preserve value in the moments that matter most.

We offer a competitive starting salary of €40,000.00 for this role, with salary adjustments reflecting your experience level and expertise.
.
Why you’ll enjoy this new opportunity?
At Deloitte, our purpose is to make an impact that matters. Joining our Infrastructure & Real Estate team, you will advise leading organisations across government, transport, and complex facilities on project and asset lifecycle challenges and transformational transactions. This is a pivotal advisory role where you’ll combine financial acumen, commercial expertise, and strategic insight to shape how critical infrastructure is planned, financed, and delivered.
You’ll work with senior stakeholders on high-impact engagements, develop trusted client relationships across key sectors, and mentor emerging talent within a collaborative, growing practice. If you thrive on solving complex infrastructure challenges, driving thought leadership, and positioning Deloitte as the trusted advisor for infrastructure transformation, this opportunity offers the platform to lead at scale and make a lasting impact.
Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CFA, Construction, PM, QS, or equivalent) with 3+ years’ experience in a professional service role
1+ years’ hands-on infrastructure advisory experience in target sectors (public transport, roads, rail and light rail, ports, other government public infrastructure, or complex facilities such as data centres) is desirable but not essential
Financial, commercial, assurance, project finance or capital project management experience, with demonstrated ability to analyse complex infrastructure projects, develop business cases, and provide strategic insight on infrastructure financing, procurement, and contracting—backed by strong Excel proficiency and commercial acumen
PPP experience desirable (pre-procurement, procurement or delivery stage)
NEC contracting experience desirable (procurement or delivery stage)
Contract/ construction management experience a bonus
Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills, combined with strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail—with the ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively across teams, and translate complex infrastructure challenges into actionable solutions
Diverse infrastructure experience from public sector, engineering consultancy, developer/equity, or professional services backgrounds, with knowledge of infrastructure project financing
What type of work will I be doing?
Identify, grow, and develop key client relationships across focus sectors positioning Deloitte as the trusted strategic advisor for infrastructure and asset lifecycle challenges
Draft, support, and drive high-impact deliverables for clients, including business cases, financial analysis, commercial and procurement strategies, and advisory reports that shape infrastructure investment and transaction decisions
Lead proposal development and bid submissions to target clients, translating their strategic objectives into compelling, market-leading solutions that differentiate Deloitte’s capability
Conduct critical reviews of business cases and plans for major infrastructure undertakings, providing rigorous financial, commercial, deliverability and strategic analysis to support informed decision-making
Collaborate across teams to deliver complete, integrated solutions for clients, ensuring seamless coordination across financial, commercial, and technical workstreams
Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing knowledge and experiences to build capability and foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence
Develop and implement work plans, ensuring adherence to quality control, resource allocation, and internal risk management procedures while maintaining the highest standards of delivery
